From the Greenlit team

Built by someone who didn't want to do the paperwork either.

Greenlit exists because freelance videographers and photographers are great at the craft and usually not great at the business side of things. The proposals that sit in our drafts folder. The invoices we finally send two weeks after delivery. The contracts we know we should have sent but didn't because we couldn't figure out what to put in them. Greenlit is built to take the worst part of freelancing off your plate, so you can spend more time on the work that actually matters.

This isn't about becoming a paperwork perfectionist. It's about freeing up the mental space that business admin takes up so you can focus on what you're actually good at.

What Greenlit is — and isn't.

What it is
  • A focused tool for generating briefs, proposals, invoices, and contracts
  • Built around how freelance creatives actually work
  • Designed to turn unstructured inputs (like a client email) into structured deliverables fast
  • A guide that helps you remember what should be in each document
What it isn't
  • A full client-relationship management platform
  • A project management tool or task tracker
  • A replacement for a lawyer on complex commercial agreements
  • A one-size-fits-all template engine

You're part of the first wave.

This is version one. That means two things. First, you're going to find things that could be better, rougher edges that haven't been smoothed yet, features you wish existed. Second, you have an unusual amount of influence on where this goes next.

Feedback is genuinely wanted — especially the constructive kind. If something is broken, tell us. If something would be better with one small change, tell us. If you wish a feature existed, tell us. The product is small and the team is small, which means real feedback can actually move the roadmap.

Questions, feedback, or need a hand? Email us and we'll get back to you.

We typically reply within a day or two.

A note on response times.

Greenlit is built and supported by a small team. Emails and requests are read and taken seriously, but responses may not be instant. If something is urgent and affecting your ability to use the product, mark it urgent in the subject line and we'll prioritize it. Thanks for your patience as we grow.
